The original automated Scrum Brief archive was replaced after review showed that reusable project-status metadata had been interpreted as day-by-day project activity. The corrected archive was reconstructed from dated project evidence so each entry reflects what was actually happening in its reporting period.

Executive Scrum Brief —

Creative Town’s portfolio case study is live, pairing the owner-approved account of the experiment with the assembled, animated town as its hero. The Case Studies navigation now places Creative Town between Thingamajob and EXL / LifePRO, and the page has its own canonical address and sitemap entry. This makes the project’s engineering decisions and lessons accessible as portfolio evidence rather than leaving them inside a development demo.

The hero reuses the existing scene selector, manifest and animated assets, with demo controls hidden. A rejected still-image treatment was replaced by the live staged scene, preserving the intended experience: the town stays recognizable while its population changes between visits. The release did not change the cast-selection rules or the existing Creative route.

Validated / learned

Production checks at desktop and mobile widths verified all 199 approved article text blocks, the actual navigation link and current-page state, active animation and three distinct 47-character draws per width. Reduced-motion behavior, hidden demo controls, sitemap inclusion and the tested yak and sign placements also passed. Those samples establish representative behavior, not perfect composition across every possible scene.

The release build passed with 56 rendered routes, alongside focused navigation, copy and selector checks. Two pre-existing shared case-study test failures were reproduced before the change and remain outside this release; the full suite is not reported as passing.

Yesterday’s missing brief was recovered through the established publisher with exact live text matching the authored Jira payload. The missed morning deadline was traced to Modern Standby: the wake-only task did not start until mouse input resumed the computer. The owner then approved disabling sleep while plugged in. Today’s visible authoring wake arrived at 9:03 AM Eastern, before the publishing deadline but after the requested authoring time; one earlier wake does not yet establish reliable daily execution.

Current focus

The latest delivered product slice is the Creative Town case study and its live scene hero. Its publication does not establish completion of every Creative Town workstream, and scene quality still requires visual judgment beyond selector-rule checks.

Retained-tab navigation remains in review pending real idle and mobile acceptance of the previously released recovery. Analytics reporting configuration and processed report receipt remain open in the inspected project record, without new evidence of completion.

Next

Review the live case study and varied hero compositions in normal use, preserving the approved narrative and deterministic selection rules while addressing demonstrated presentation defects. Finish owner acceptance of retained-tab recovery and the remaining analytics reporting follow-through. Confirm the daily editorial handoff by actual saved Jira payloads and subsequent publication evidence, rather than by configured alarms alone.
